Based on an old recipe by the herbalist Carlo Gamondi, who aimed to combine the freshness of aromas with high-quality wines. Harvesting the ingredients needed for vermouth flavoring at the right season, he used only extracts from fresh bitter oranges and wormwood flowers in his blends. He carefully mixed these with other herbs and spices and added them to wines from the Piemonte region. It has a deep orange-red color, very aromatic with intense scents of quinine, coriander, and bitter orange. Its intense and persistent taste leaves a very pleasant aftertaste. Serve chilled or with ice, and it is an ideal ingredient for cocktails like Americano or Negroni.
